7. Manners Maketh Man
There are many reasons it can be hard for a man to be a true gentlemen, in this page we're going to discuss the gutsy way and hopefully teach you to become a better gentlemen without any setbacks. So let's let's get started...
This can simply start with the way you dress
1. Get your measurements correct.
Find the clothes that fits snugly to your frame is extremely important when dressing & a rule you should never undermine.
2. Make sure to color coordinate correctly
Remember when wearing dark suits & trousers, pastel or light shades match well. The same will go for the other way around. Always make sure your shirt & suit trousers match well.
3. Belts, Ties & Watches
The color of your tie should always complement your overall attire. Before you wear a tie make sure the first button of your shirt is buttoned. As for your shoes, the color should always match your trousers. Owning a couple of professional wrist watches in a steel & leather belts are a must.
4. Folding & Ironing
You're clothing should be ironed and folded at correct angles. You should iron your clothes in such a way where not even a crease is visible. If you must roll up your sleeves do so in a way that is neat and doesn't look messy or dirty
5. Cufflinks & Cravats
These two things are not a necessity but a recommendation. They won't appear in your attire on the regular basis but they are advisable to opt for a silk cravat or at least a stylish scarf. These two things shout money, power & style.
6. Grooming
A nice tailored suit & style would mean nothing without a proper grooming. Go for either clean-shaven look or well-trimmed beard. Style your hair with gel. Use mouth freshener to get rid of a stale smell. Use fragrances that are pleasing and not fruity or heavy. Make sure your fragrance compliments your persona.
7. Last but not least: Confidence
Shoulders back, head up and remember you have a purpose & a right to be in this world. You are a gentlemen & have every right to be here.
Sometimes it's hard to speak the truth but it must be done. This shows honor, a must-have quality of any gentlemen. Many times we forget to be honest with ourselves, causing us to be dishonest with others. A gentlemen should never live in a lie. Don't let yourself be trapped in something that will eat away at your confidence. Staying truthful shows your confident in the person you are & who you can become. If you feel as though you can't speak the truth figure out what's holding you back & eliminate it from your life. Before you speak or do anything that will cause you to have to lie reevaluate the situation & take a step back. Say nothing & walk away. You can always come back with the complete truth but you can never take back a lie.
As a gentlemen valuing your family & relationships should always come first before your work. You should treat your family as royalty and you should always stay loyal your relationships. Loyalty & Royalty is enough to to make any gentlemen feel like a king.
A true gentlemen treats everyone with respect no matter how disrespectful they may be. The saying "you give respect to get respect" doesn't exist because a gentlemen knows that if he gives respect to any & everyone he is more likely to succeed in the world. This doesn't mean allowing yourself to be a push over it simply means showing the world that you don't have to stoop down to someone else's level. This gives you power over men who have yet to become the gentlemen that you are & gives them something to look up to rather than look down upon.
Remember early is on time & on time is late. Be careful not to show up too earlier because this creates a look of desperation, 5 - 10 min before the arrival time shall do. Although at times you may get there little later than expected make sure not to show up after the arrival time because that can give off a look of disinterest or laziness.
If you say you're going to do something do it. Nothing is worse than a gentlemen who makes empty promises because a gentlemen who does that is not a gentlemen at all, he is a con. Sticking by your word is honorable and should always be done even in the toughest of situations. If you're unsure you can make something let others know before you go giving out promises you can't keep.

MANNERS MAKETH MAN
The Kingsman said it best. If you've never seen this movie as a gentlemen I advise you watch it. Although it is a full blown action movie packed with spies & complete nonsense it has a keen purpose & one that every man should admire. This is a movie that if watched carefully can be your own personal guidebook on how to be a gentleman. "Manners maketh man" is a wonderful quote taken from that movie because having manners means you know how to be respectful & also know the proper way of life. Everything before part of the article is basically brought together by this one quote.
